Bart Schneiderman is a veteran sprint car driver with over 20 years experience in racing competition. His record of consistency and performance has proven his commitment to the sport as well as the advertisers he represents.
Bart has been driving at local tracks since 1985, when he first decided to get out of the stands and into the “driver’s seat.” Since then, the team has made numerous changes to the racing program. Their effort is and always will be to maintain a safe and competitive car. Bart hails from West Burlington, Iowa, where he and his wife Suzie live with their children, Joshua, Jarrod, Janelle and Adam. Deuce Racing is truly a team effort, many nights the entire family is on hand in the pits, whether making adjustments, readying the car for the races, or preparing the post-races snacks, everyone plays an important role. When not in the pits they anchor one of the largest cheering sections in the grandstands each night. Bart’s sister, Robin, is the statistician, who tracks all the team’s performances and edits the monthly newsletter, “Deuce Racing Update.”
Bart owns and operates Absolute Transportation Services, Inc., an auto and truck repair business in Burlington. He has an accomplished business background and many years of experience as an automotive technician and service advisor. He is very proud of the reputation he and his staff have earned in the community as an “honest” mechanic who truly cares about his customers.
In 1998 Bart was awarded the first “Des Moines County Attorney Award of Merit” for his support of the local D.A.R.E. and G.R.E.A.T. programs. He has been helping with the D.A.R.E. program since 1988. In 1997, he was voted “Favorite 34 Raceway Driver” by The Hawkeye Newspaper Reader’s Poll.
Bart’s other interests include fishing and baseball, mostly doing the first, and watching the second. He has a tremendous sense of family that carries over into his professional life. There is no “risk” involved with supporting the Deuce Racing Team and their endeavors, they are proven winners who make every effort to make family and friends proud. |
